Sleeps with Angels     December, 2001

Once in awhile
I go back
To sit in rows
                      following lines in the songs
                                                        shake a few hands
Be lead in prayer
Yearning hearts
Pursuing a connection-where-
                RELATIONSHOPS NEVER END
AND EVERYONE FOLLOWS THE SPEED LIMIT

Feasting on huge portions of empty calories
To absorb a few morsels of truth
Must we endure the anxiety of hell
Before we rest in the peace of grace

Life is risks taken, lessons learned
When we stop we are dead already
                REALIZE DEATH IS NOT BAD
                        YOU FINALLY LIVE

Evolve as an adult
                Atlantic crossing

                                            SLEEP WITH AN ANGEL
These pews are hard but Jesus I'm so in love with you

Hold my hand and walk with me awhile
This piece of the journey we get to share
