Computer     January 22, 1999

I sold out today
Lost my virginity
Devoured in 82 micro bites

The dog had to ride in the back of the PU
While the computer got her seat
When the screen came on
I knew it was over
When the first FAX appeared
There was no going back
                       LORD HAVE MERCY ON ME
I'm tapped in
On line
Sucked into the vortex
The meat grinder of the new millennium
Spit out as digital information
                      ONE WITH THE COMPUTER AGE
All I ever wanted to do
lay a few bricks, block, stone
walk the earth
experience my humanity, flesh
The glory, the failure, the grace
                     SWEET GRACE
The only space left
Kansas skies above the short grass
BURY ME THERE
