The Coal Creek Cross Country Challenge, is in its 7th year. We started out with about 30 participants and last year we had over 100.  This race is a classic cross country race in the true sense.  Approximately a 10 K, it has trail running, open field running, a stream crossing as well as a fence crossing.  Most years have free beer at the finnish line, as well as prize drawings.  Original medals of Buffalo head nickels are awarded in the first 3 places, male and female in all the age groups.

This race is sponsored by Colorado Masters Running Association, and is co-directed by Bruce Kirschner and Randy Luallin. It starts and finishes at the new Community Park in Louisville Colorado.  This years date is October 15, on a Sunday at 9 am.  A great time is had by all and we get repeat runners every year. Hope to see you there.  Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
